COACHING TIP: WHEEL OF LIFE

Who am I, where am I, why am I getting what I've got???

Take a moment to think about yourself. Take a full breath out. Breathe out as though you are blowing into a balloon - hoo, hoo, hoo. Feel your shoulders and stomach drop. Feel your body let go and relax. Now release that breath and your lungs will spontaneously fill. Feel your self as life giving oxygen fills your body. Be aware of yourself. Now evaluate your satisfaction in each of the areas of your life that are represented on the wheel:

Career, financial, health, intellectual, social, family, spiritual, leisure time, environmental, emotional.

What to do:

Place a number that corresponds to how satisfied you are on each spoke. For example, if you are moderately satisfied with family place a 4, 5, or 6 on the spoke next to family, Use 0 as not satisfied at all and 10 as completely satisfied.


Add the number from each area and now divide by 100. This is your Quality of Life Ratio (QLR). How satisfied are you with your score? Do you know that you can have a QLR of 100. Go for it!!
